Facilitating Listening Circles - VIRTUAL

In this highly interactive experience, you will learn the skills and important considerations to becoming a skilled listening circle facilitator. Led by two expert facilitators, the event interweaves learning, practice, and reflection and is accompanied by practical documents and tools, such as sample scripts and emails, to prepare participants. The sessions will focus on a real-life issue or challenge to make the experience relevant.

  • Explore how to use listening circles in their settings

Restorative Practices at Work: Relational Tools for Culture Change - VIRTUAL

Workplaces thrive where there is a culture of trust, a shared vision, and a sense of value. In these types of environments, we see increases in employee retention, wellness, and overall performance. With a focus on applicability in your own workplace, participants in this event will develop knowledge and skills to proactively cultivate a positive workplace culture.

With an emphasis on relationships and emotional intelligence, participants will explore tools to build trust, strengthen engagement, and promote mutual accountability. Participants will leave knowing how to assess their current workplace culture and design actionable strategies to support positive and sustainable culture change.

Participants can expect to:

  • Learn how and why engagement drives culture.

  • Identify techniques to create brave spaces that foster trust and authenticity.

  • Explore how best to accomplish mutual accountability and identify needed norms.

  • Discuss how to increase the level and quality of workplace engagement.

  • Evaluate which concepts from restorative practices are best suited for immediate implementation and outline next steps.

Note: No prior knowledge of restorative practices is necessary to participate. Participants will receive a copy of Heart Strong Work: Improving Workplace Culture with their registration.
